Glasgow based creative design agency ocean70 has recently been placed ‘Winner Best Brochure’ at the Thibierge & Comar International Awards 2004.
The Awards, held annually by the renowned French company, are only open for entry by Thibierge & Comar Worldwide Distributors and associated design agencies. Judging criteria by panel based strictly on:
- Correlation between the design and the advertiser’s business
- Originality of the design
- Creative use of the paper
- Printing technique used
- Printing quality
ocean70 won First Prize for their printed corporate brochure, ‘it’s your time’, for National Legal Firm, Bishops Solicitors. The brochure, printed by J. Thomson Colour Printers, used a range of My360 paper offering a blend of tactile sensations with overprinted interleaves using an Evanescent Silk Mauve to add lustre and visual presence.
ocean70 Creative Director Alex Stewart commented, “the ‘it’s your time’ concept has meanings on many levels, leveraging the Bishops brand and adding collateral to their brand marketing. To be able to work on and complete a project of this nature is reward enough, being presented with an International Award amongst global competition is breath taking.”
