You may have noticed in the trade press that Scott Mcbride has indeed left oceanseventy to take up a post in Malaysia.
We all wish him the very best and hope he achieves everything he went out there to do. Although Scott will be missed, it gives the oceanseventy team a chance to re-group and focus on delivering the best service at the best price to our existing and future clients. If you want to get in touch, please call Alex Stewart on 0141 221 2337.

Rolling off our web development line this month is a new website for recently launched letting company, Clear Lets. Operating out of their Glasgow HQ, with branches appearing across Scotland, Clear provide property letting services to both tenants and landlords.
The site provides an easy to use search interface with the ability to see exactly where all the properties you've found are quickly and easily on the map view which uses the Google Maps API to dynamically position the latest property.

Scotland's largest Health Board approached us to design an informative brochure on Heart Disease: How do people manage the journey towards recovery. Our 12 page brochure is 210 x 210mm, each illustration was designed to reflect the feelings patients experience on the road to recovery.

Now that it's summer, grab your hiking boots and get yourself to Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and don't forget the cagoul!
We have recently completed some brochure work for Scotland's largest national park in association with Scottish Enterprise that we are rather proud of. Fabulous imagery of the stunning surroundings formed the basis of an 8 page, oversized A4 brochure that holds four, 4 page A4 inserts. These inserts represented all 4 individual areas within the National Park ( Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Dunoon & Cowal and Breadalbane). All items were printed on 80% recycled stock.
World-wide luxury apartment and serviced residence proiders Frasers Hospitality have just launched the redesign of their website. The site encompasses microsites for the 3 Frasers brands and a microsite for each of their properties - including the one here in sunny Glasgow!
Obviously i'm telling you this because the creative types in our office crafted the design with their very own hands!
In addition, we worked with Singapore based LeisureM, who took our finely honed psd's and integrated them with the existing Frasers CMS and booking engine.

After a 6 way pitch that included some well known design industry names, oceanseventy were chosen by Aberlour children's charity to reinvigorate their brand.
Work starts in earnest with the whole team eager to help Aberlour in their quest to help some of the many children, young people and families that require their support. Obviously the crew here at oceanseventy would like help with fundraising and are currently throwing around ideas such as 'Nick's 12 hour tennis challenge', 'Nick's moustache marathon' and 'Get Nick for a romantic night' raffle! Any other ideas are all gratefully received
In the meantime, anyone interested in donating can at www.aberlour.org.uk/donations/online.htm and anyone interested in becoming involved and helping Aberlour achieve its goals can at www.aberlour.org.uk/involved/helping.htm. It only takes a second to make a difference.
The first of May saw the oceanseventy gang head down to Manchester to play with the big boys at the Roses Advertising Awards 2008. Our much loved Chistmas Email campaign - Steven vs. Godzilla had managed to secure 2 nominations - Best In House / Self Promotion, and Best Low Budget. Just chuffed to be nominated and to have an excuse to go to Manchester we surpassed all our expectations by securing two bronze awards.
Needless to say we're all quite chuffed and have celebrated by getting some new plants for the office and a giant jar of Daim bars!
If you want to stay up to date with any future adventures of Steven then register for our newsletter and we'll let you know what he gets up to next.
Never a team to rest on our laurels we decided that it was time to clean out the cobwebs on our website and make things a little bit prettier to look at and a little easier to find.
Our famous showreel is now available in gigantovision and we've spruced up the oceanseventy blog to make it even more enjoyable to read about our past and future exploits.
Well done to the digital team for getting it out the door. If you've got any comments then say hello through the comments form below.
More quality photos taken in our recent picture taking frenzy. Recent subjects were 'Canned Goods' and 'Orange' both won by my good self!

As part of our development of the new site for global investment firm, Clear U.A.E. we've launched a holding page to allow real estate professionals and investors to get information about the latest property development opportunities in the U.A.E.
We're working, for the first time, with the U.K's leading property PR and marketing consultancy, Halogen, who are helping with the launch of the business and integrating our creative knowledge into the overall marketing mix.
